Holiday + Gift Guide for Photo Gifts

Maybe it’s because we’re so far away from a lot of our family and friends, or because we just got married, but I love giving and receiving photo gifts for Christmas!

Here are some of the best photo gifts I think you can give. Photos are so special because I think that a lot of people forget to print the photos they have now because of social media. By taking the small amount of time to print out photos, you’re giving them a really precious keepsake that’s outside of their screen!

An Old Photo in a New Frame

Get a copy made of an old photo of you and the person you want to gift it to, and put it in a brand new frame. A lot of old photos end up in scrapbooks that aren’t always looked at. It can be nice to bring out an old photo to give it new life! Here’s the white frame, and the gold frame! (bottom left)

Something for Their Desk

Your parents, best friends, and significant other will love either an easel calendar for their desk or just a sweet photo! (bottom right)  Matt has gotten me multiple of these Fracture photos over the past couple of years, and they’re truly beautiful! I get compliments on them this one all the time, and I know his mom does too! (We got her one when she got a new job!)

A New Wall Decoration

For Their Coffee Table or Bookshelf

Has it been a big year for your family? Or did a loved one just pass away? Want to celebrate along or momentous friendship? Make them a photo book.  Shutterfly has a service, that for an extra $10, a designer will We’re going to put together one for our parents for the wedding at some point. One for your grandparents of all their grandkids would be perfect. They love to show off their grandchildren!

The best part about all of these photo gifts is that the fact you got someone a photo gift means that you put a lot of thought into picking the photo and what type of gift you thought they would want!

What are your favorite types of photos? Any really great photo gifts I forgot?
