As a kid, Thanksgiving was pretty fun, but now I love it even more. It’s literally a day dedicated to eating and our loved ones. What more could you ask for? For my very last Thanksgiving post, I thought I would share with you my g0-to Thanksgiving outfit. Our Thanksgivings at home are a little more formal, and I love carrying that tradition on here.
Thanksgiving Outfit Idea
Quick fun fact of the day, that crazy hair that’s doing its own thing? It’s like that because when I was 12 I decided to cut my own baby hairs.. and this is what happened. Yes, it’s still growing out and had 12-year-old me known the decade-long consequences, I’d like the think she wouldn’t do it.
This is my very bad attempt at a fashion blogger pose. They are the real MVPs. Thanks for indulging my lame attempt at being a fashion blogger today.
Anyway, let’s get on to the outfit, shall we? This outfit is one of the easiest things to throw on. I couldn’t find this exact tweed skirt, but what you can’t tell is that I ate a lot of movie theatre popcorn the night before and wasn’t feeling I was looking my best. But can’t really tell.
Basically, you could eat all you want, and still look great. This tank top isn’t too warm that you’ll start sweating when you eat too much. To top the outfit off, you’re going to want these tights because they’re like wearing a sweater on your legs. They’re from Loft, and have lasted me two seasons now!
The main thing is for you to be comfortable, so if you’re about that casual life, go for it! If you can, wear your baggiest jeans, or trying to get away with a more formal leggings outfit, I would do that.
What are you wearing for Thanksgiving? I’m honestly so excited, my mouth is just watering thinking about mashed potatoes and stuffing.
